Mindfulness
Why Mindfulness is part of my sessions.
Do you occasionally get stuck in a constant stream of thoughts? Do you experience a lot of stress or feelings of uncertainty? I know how it feels to be trapped in a grinding cycle of negative thoughts. That constant pressure can be paralysing.
There is a way to free yourself from this: mindfulness. This is a popular term, and there are several techniques for mastering it. During my sessions, I use a simple Western approach.
Why mindfulness is essential…
…for healing.
Did you know that according to research by American psychologist Timothy Brown, we have around 40,000 thoughts a day? And that 70% of those are negative? Because the world around us is created from our thoughts, we should be much more careful with what we think. But that’s not how it usually works.

Because most people respond to things that happen outside of them. Something they see or experience touches them. It is the path from the outside to the inside. Whereas the path back to your Self runs from the inside to the outside. In other words: the other way around.
Mindfulness is therefore part of my toolkit to help you rediscover your inner peace. Because what is going on inside you? Create order and you will see that change begins to take effect.
What mindfulness can offer:
- It reduces worrying and gives you more peace of mind.
- It helps you to manage stress better and let go of things.
- It offers relief from emotional pain.
- Mindfulness increases your daily sense of happiness, allowing you to enjoy the little moments more.
We are usually preoccupied with the future or the past. Mindfulness gives you insights when you are truly present in yourself. By being truly present in the here and now with yourself and consciously focusing your attention, you gradually learn to let go of what you cannot control. Mindfulness is now a scientifically proven method that helps you experience more joy in life.
